Location: Chattahoochee National Forest, Georgia
Driving north on highway 28 in South Carolina, drive 2.2 miles after crossing the Chattooga River and turn left on a paved road (Warwoman Road). Drive 11.0 miles and turn left into the Warwoman Dell Picnic Area. (From Clayton, turn off of highway 441 onto Warwoman Road on the north side of the Heart of Rabun Inn. Driving north on 441, this is a
right turn. Drive about 2.8 miles and turn right into the Warwoman Dell Picnic Area.) Drive to the end of the road and park. Walk up the stairs on the left, go a few paces up the hill to a clearing with a toilet and a sign about the Blue Ridge Railroad. The trail goes to the left on the other side of the clearing.
Note: The gate to this area is closed at dusk.
