Location: Sumter National Forest, South Carolina
Take highway 76 southeast from Clinton to Joanna. In Joanna, turn left on highway 66 and drive about 7.4 miles to an intersection known as the Brickhouse Crossroads. Continue on 66 for 2.2 miles past the Brickhouse Crossroads and turn left on Little North Carroll Road (also called Duncan Road, also FR 364). Drive 2.0 miles to the trail-head on the right.
Note: I hiked this section on a cold day in the rain, thus no picture.
