Driving north on highway 107, the Sloan Bridge Picnic Area is on the left 14.6 miles from highway 28 and 0.2 miles past the connecting road on the right that goes to highway 130. Driving south on highway 107, Sloan Bridge is on the right 0.9 miles past the North Carolina state line. There is no bridge at Sloan Bridge. Walk south on highway 107 to the trail sign about 40 feet from the parking lot and cross highway 107 to the trail.
