Location: Rocky Bottom, South Carolina
From the intersection of highways 178 and 11, drive north on 178 to Rocky Bottom (7.4 miles). Drive 0.9 miles past the F. Van Clayton turn on the right in Rocky Bottom and cross the bridge over Eastatoe Creek. Directly after crossing the bridge turn left and then immediately bear right on the dirt road that goes uphill. Drive 0.3 miles to the parking area on the left. Walk back down the dirt road to highway 178. Walk across the bridge over Eastatoe Creek and turn left onto the Foothills Trail.
